Volkan Konak

Volkan Konak is a famous Turkish folk music artist. He was born in Trabzon, Turkey in 1967. He started his music life in 1989 with his music album Suların Horon Yeri which he collected in Maçka region. Later, he started composing. By composing pieces of valuable artists such as Nâzım Hikmet, Yaşar Miraç, Ömer Kayaoğlu, Sunay Akın, he has determined his music and style. It has created a unique style that doesn’t have an example by adding ethnic motifs. Now Volkan Konak is continuing his successful jobs.
